Privacy Policy
Effective 26 May 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it.
1. Who we are
EmpireSporePlus ("we", "our", "us") is operated from 300 W Broadway, Council Bluffs, IA 51503, United States. We curate a small selection of online fantasy and MMO realms and direct interested visitors to the publishers of those games. We are not a game publisher and do not host or operate any of the games featured.

2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us
When you write to us through the contact form or the in-page chat, we receive the name, email address and message text you submit. We use it only to reply to your request. We do not share this information with the game publishers we feature.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit, our servers log the IP address, browser user-agent, screen width and the page URL you opened. We use these logs to keep the site available, prevent abuse and measure aggregate traffic. Logs are rotated after thirty days.
2.3 Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small set of cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the list and the lawful basis for each.
2.4 Quiz answers
The "Find Your Realm" quiz runs entirely in your browser. The answers are not sent to our servers and are discarded as soon as you close the tab.
3. Why we use this data
- To reply to the messages you send us through the contact form or chat.
- To monitor traffic and protect the site against abuse.
- To measure aggregate interest in featured realms — never to profile individual visitors.
- To meet our obligations under United States, Iowa and Australian consumer-protection law.
4. Lawful basis
We rely on three lawful bases. For inquiries you send us, we rely on your consent given when you submit the form. For server logs we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site stable and safe. For affiliate measurement we rely on the consent you give in our cookie banner.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data with three categories of processors only:
- The hosting provider that serves this site (encrypted in transit and at rest).
- Our email provider (Proton Mail), which carries replies to your inquiries.
- Affiliate networks that measure outbound clicks when you choose to follow a "Play Now" button. These networks see the click, not your form submissions.
When you click a "Play Now" link, you leave this site. The game publisher you reach has its own privacy policy. Read it before you create an account.
6. International transfers
Although we are based in the United States, visitors arrive from many regions including Australia and the European Union. When data crosses borders we rely on standard contractual clauses with our processors. You can request a copy of those clauses by email.
7. Retention
Contact form messages are kept for twelve months and then deleted unless we are obliged to keep them longer by law. Server logs are rotated after thirty days. Quiz answers are not retained.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected, to ask for it to be deleted, to object to a particular use, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights write to [email protected].
Australian visitors can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. United States visitors can contact the Iowa Attorney General's Office. EU visitors can contact the data-protection authority in their country of residence.
9. Children
EmpireSporePlus is intended for visitors aged 18 and over. Some of the featured realms have lower age ratings of their own — read each publisher's policy before letting a younger reader sign up.
10. Security
We use HTTPS across the whole site, encrypt server-side data at rest, and limit access to inquiry messages to the small Council that replies to them. No system is perfect, so if you suspect a breach write to us immediately and we will investigate.
11. Changes
If this policy changes meaningfully we will update the "effective" date at the top of this page and post a short note on the home page for thirty days.
